Modular Art Pods is an open-source, collaborative art tunnel. Artists build pods, we connect them all together, and people crawl through. The art can be accessed by crawling or walking through (depending on pod size). The show can also be experienced by walking the perimeter of the pods.

The next show is at OZ Arts on June 21 through 25 with a special Thursday Night Things event June 23 at 6 p.m.

Address: OZ’s address is 6172 Cockrill Bend Cir, Nashville, TN 37209.

Parking: Street parking is available, but OZ also has several spaces reserved for people with disabilities in front of the building.

Wheelchair Access: The building front door is wheelchair accessible. The Modular Art Pods exhibition is located on the first floor. No steps, lifts, or elevators are required to get to the exhibit.

Exhibition Accessibility: The pods are laid out in levels of 4 to 6 pods each. Some levels are wheelchair accessible with doors at least 33″ wide and 66″ tall. Other pods levels require crawling and are thus not accessible.

All pods can also be experienced through an accessible backlot tour. On the backlot tour, guests can view the pod exterior artwork, view inside the pods via peepholes, and interact with the guests on the inside of the pods in a variety of ways. The hallways surrounding the pods are 5′ wide or wider.

Most of the artwork is touch-friendly. Many pods feature sound elements.

Scent: We can’t guarantee the exhibit will be scent-free. Please do not wear perfumes or colognes that could affect guests with allergies.

Lights:  Some of the pods feature flashing lights. Some pods are low-light.

Language: No Spanish or ASL translation provided.

Guides: Guides are available for guests with limited mobility or visual impairment. If you’d like to request a guide, or if you have any questions, please send an email to Tony Youngblood at tonyyoungblood@gmail.com.
